Facelift for Food & Environmental Hygiene websites
Enhanced Service with New User Experience and System Upgrade
FEHD & CFS
The project with Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) showcases the competence of the Zivo Management System and mailReach in web content management and eDM delivery.
FEHD is stepping up for a facelift in the design and information management of the main site and Centre for Food Safety (CFS) in order to cope with the soaring demand for efficient public information dissemination. Both websites have adopted a customer-centric approach with responsive design for the smart phone users as well as the Government’s guidelines on website’s common look and feel. User experience is further enhanced with full compliance to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines taking heeds to the needs of persons with disabilities.
As FEHD is required to publish web content within extremely short lead time, particularly in the case of public health care and food safety issues which affect the well-being of Hong Kong community, the ZMS is required to win the bid after many rounds of user testing during the evaluation process. ZMS has provided customized features to fulfill complex requirement on internal workflow, information management and data security. More than 8,000 static web pages from the two old websites were migrated to the newly revamped ones within a rigid time frame and they are now more effectively managed through the ZMS. The ZMS also integrates with mailReach, another flagship solution from WestcomZivo on eDM solution, to provide effective delivery of newsletters and ad-hoc messages from various departmental sections and units to the public. The system shall also allow client to capture insightful data on readers’ behavior ultimately enhancing customer relationship management.
